Experience
2001- onwards
I am working as a freelance translator for Greek, English, French, Spanish and Swedish with numerous translations agencies from Greece and abroad. I translate about 1.000.000 words per year.
2002-2003
I worked with the Ministry of Public Order, International Police Cooperation Division as an English translator to cover the needs arising during the Greek Presidency of the European Council
2004-2008
I was a lexicographer at the Institute of Language and Speech Processing. I worked in the development of multilingual information databases, terminology databases, in corpus linguistics and the creation of electronic glossaries. I was responsible for translating the terminology for an advanced learner’s dictionary from Greek into English, French and Spanish. I also translated the documentation for the Cultural Thesaurus of Modern Greek Literature.
