To ensure consistency in translation, I use the following translation tools: Trados Studio 2024, Translation Workspace, LEAF, Memsource/Phrase while I am also familiar with: XTM, Wordfast. I am always open to using the client’s tools and to adapt to any needs and demands.

Procedure

The procedure that we follow is simple and comprises the following steps:

  1. First contact: we communicate by phone or email and identify the translation needs.
  2. Sending the texts: you send me the text you wish to translate.
  3. Quote: after examining the texts, we inform you about the cost and the time needed to complete the translation.
  4. Assignment: if you accept the quote, we proceed to the assignment, and you determine the deadline.
  5. Payment: you proceed to the payment via bank transfer or Paypal for the translation to start.
  6. Delivery: we will deliver the translation to you within the specified deadline.
  7. After-sales services: if you disagree with the terminology used or any other aspect of the translation, we proceed with the necessary corrections at no cost.

There is also the possibility of having another translator proofread the translation. This service is offered at an additional cost, and it is advised on high visibility content (websites and advertising material)

Certified translations

As a graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting of the Ionian University and according to the Greek Presidential Decree 169 of June 17, 2002 (G.G. 156/2.7.02), I can also provide certified translations. My translations are equal to the translations of the certified translators of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Translation cost

The cost of the translation depends on many factors. These include the volume, the difficulty and the language combination of the text.

Discounts

We offer lower rates in cases where you provide already translated content, which can be used as a reference.

We offer 25% discount if the text exceeds 1000 words (4 pages).
